Refund Policy
We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. This is because our items are unique and we cannot remake or refurbish them once used.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase for us to check the date of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@elefari.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
All return charges are the customers responsibility and not Elefari's.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. We can provide a discount if necessary and make sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Handmade in Kenya, this chopping board is a one-of-a-kind piece that is both beautiful and functional. The board is made from Meru Oak with a purple colored resin epoxy. It's a perfect add on for your kitchen and will be helpful during event in your home. Make your meal sparkle with this unique piece of furniture.
Made with Meru Oak
Meru Oak is a decidious tree found only in Kenya. It's capable of growing to a height of 35m and only takes 2-3 years to reach maturity. It occurs naturally in lower and upper montane forests and on thicked rocky hills.
It's very thin with a rough back and hairy stems, petioles and veins. Wood from Meru oak is hard, durable and resembles teak, and is commonly used to make furniture and decorative veneers. its heartwood is orange-brown to golden brown, becoming red-brown upon prolonged exposure to outside elements.
Owing to its highly valued timber and over-eploitation, the species is now very rare.
